The passion for doing stone work and brick work and creating these beautiful projects, a lot of the time, starts with Howard Dittrich, owner of Carolina Masonry. A lot of people ask, "why the name Carolina Masonry", and it's because it all started when Howard moved to North Carolina when he graduated from high school. He learned this trade from a very skilled mason there, who's desire for him was to not retire until he taught Howard everything. That passion for creating beautiful things carried over to Howard, and today you can find the spark in his eye when you start discussing the project you are looking to have done. We will make it come together, one stone at a time.
